E-magazines
West Lothian Public Libraries also provide an e-magazine service whereby you can download e-magazines for free.
If you are already a West Lothian library member all you need to register is your library barcode number and PIN - Mrs Aitken can give you this information.
New to the e-Magazines service? Follow these simple steps on to how to register and start downloading:
To register on your your mobile device, download Libby from the App Store or Google Play and tap the "Register now" link on the App's main page to create your account in just a few easy steps:
- Choose West Lothian libraries
- Enter your library card membership number and PIN
Once registered, you will be automatically logged in and can enjoy magazine content.
or
You can register using your PC or laptop by selecting Register at the top of the screen on West Lothian libraries Libby from Overdrive website, then simply enter your library barcode and PIN to access the magazine catalogue.
The e-Magazine collection offers a wide range of popular magazines. There's an e-Magazine for almost everyone and they're FREE to all West Lothian Public library and School Library members.

E-books and talking e-books
Did you know that you can borrow e-books and talking e-books from West Lothian Public Libraries? This service is available to everyone who is registered with either a Public Library or School Library. You can borrow 6 e-books or up to 10 Talking e-books for free from BorrowBox and download them to a variety of devices. Loans are for 21 days.
You will need your Library barcode and PIN number to register for this service. Mrs Aitken can provide these for you.
