Today - Thursday 26th September- is European Day of Languages as it has been on this day every year since 2001. The idea is to encourage everyone in Europe, no matter how old or young , to learn more langauges. In fact all UK residents are being encouraged to learn 1000 words in a new language in order to improve job prospects. For more information about the 'Speak to the future campaign' click here

Today - 26th September - is European Day of Languages. The Library has many dictionaries and books which you can use to help improve your language skills. Whether it is French, German, Latvian, or even Cantonese or Urdu the Library has a book that can help.

Monday 26th of September is the 10th European Day of Languages to celebrate the Modern Langauges Department are running a Continental Cafe at breaktime for staff and students. To help improve your language skills come into the Library where there is a display of language books and dictionaries and to complement this display you can browse and borrow a selection of books about the countries of Europe.
