The Costa Children's Book Award 2013 was won by Chris Riddell for his book
'Goth girl and the ghost of a mouse'. This is a fantastically silly spoof of the gothic novel (think 'Frankenstein',' Northanger Abbey' or 'Gormennghast') full of hilarious puns which reference the genre. The book is also beautifully illustrated by the author. A must read!
