Book of the week 26th August

The book of the week for this week is 'May produce gas' by Jonathan Meres. This is the 3rd book in The world of Norn series and is, according to the quote from Harry Hill on the front cover, "Hilarious stuff' but you will have to read it to see if you agree. So what is it about?
From the back cover: "Norm knew it was going to be one of those days when he got blamed for global warming. And that's just the tip of the iceberg...It seems like the whole owrld has gone mad.His dad's obsessed with gas, his best friend has come down with a case of hormone, and his brother is in dire need of deodorant. Looks like there's going to be quite a stink."

Read red!

A colour theme for the displays in the fiction area this month - all the books have red book jackets. There is a huge range of different fiction genres to choose from - horror, adventure, humour, family sagas, mysteries, steampunk, even romance! There are over 80 books on display, so why not choose something different and read red!
