With the change in the weather it is impossible to escape the fact that autumn is now well and truly upon us. Time to get cosy and curl up with a good book. Get some ideas from the books on display in the Library (F27) and 'leaf through a good book'!
Thursday 7th October is National Poetry Day. Celebrate by reading or writing some poetry, or join Mrs Aitken in F27 at 12.30 to create your own 'blackout poems'. For inspiration come and see the display of poetry books in the Library.
There is a new awesome display focusing on LGBTI+ themes on the wall opposite the entrance to the CDT Department. Watch this space and the student newsletter for information about the Spectrum Group in the school.
Come along to the Library and check out the display for European Day of Languages. Maybe borrow a book to help you start to learn a new language.
Bi Visibility Day is celebrated annually on September 23rd to recognise and celebrate bisexual people, the bisexual community and the history of bisexuality.
