Sad news, the death of Sir Terry Pratchett author of some of the most amusing and imaginative fantasy fiction. If you have never read one of his Discworld novels why not borrow one from the Library. There are some amazingly inventive characters including the Librarian (an orang utan) - my favourite of course and Death!

World Book Day
There are lots of events happening around the school for World Book Day for both staff and students.In the Library there are competitions for students and lots of books on display.
School staff selected the book that they would read if stranded on a desert island - some of these books are now on display at the Library entrance.
"Books are friends forever..not just for World Book Day" is the title on the display board with a selection of books to match the type of friend you may be looking for including scary, funny, sporty, gifted and nasty!!
